Creating a Vision for Washtenaw Avenue

On August 27th, the Washtenaw Avenue Talent Center Action Team began transforming their described vision for the redevelopment of Washtenaw Avenue into something more tangible.  Participants identified priority sites for redevelopment and infill development, completed a visual preference exercise on character, form and function of development, and even worked together to sketch potential site and intersection designs.  This charrette will help to illustrate how we might better provide and integrate housing and transportation options along the corridor using smart growth design standards.
